About Nordgaard
Nordgaarden is located in Ringsted only 5 minutes drive from the motorway and yet so far away in the countryside that we are not bothered by traffic noise.
The farm consists of many old buildings and a little peace of land that is grazed by our Highland Cattle. The old buildings are very charming and there is peace and quiet and plenty of rural idyll.
To the farm belongs an old pigsty, sow stables, cow house, horse stables, a barn and a former mill house, now converted to residential / commercial and a main building. Since the buildings are more charming than they are practical and when our animals stay outside the whole year are more of the buildings now empty.
Some of the buildings are used, however as open stables in wet and cold winter periods, while others are used for storing hay, straw and other goods and chattels. |
